I think one important decision a parent can make is what kind of toys they will buy for their children. There are many types of toys out there, some are mindless and do nothing for the kid. Building toys I think are great because they really stimulate the child’s creativity and spatial skills. I used to love these kinds of toys when I was a kid, I would sit there and plan and create all kinds of different things. Studies show that stimulating and getting a kid interacting with things helps brain development. This could help especially as they get older and go through school.
