I was thinking the other day with this ongoing housing crisis we are facing, that maybe this whole idea of buying a home is overrated to begin with. Maybe Americans would be a lot better off if we just went to Winnebago Dealers and bought a RV as our “house on wheels”. I know a neighbor who got foreclosed and bought a trailer and is now on the open road. At least he isn’t tied down to his house. And when you think about it you never really “own” your house anyways because you have to pay property taxes and home owners insurance. Then there is the other bills like utility bills and all kinds of maintenance to keep your house looking nice. With a RV, at least you don’t have to worry about trying to find a seller if you need to move. You just get behind the wheel and start driving. You don’t even need to buy a car because your RV is already your car! RVs aren’t practical for everyone of course, but they are cheaper, less of a hassle, and allow you to travel the road and move whenever you want.

I am single, so when I go over to my parents we often watch movies together sorta like a family night occasion. My parents are christian, so they like clean movies with a real heartwarming story. A movie that recently came out in theatres and is now available for pre-order on DVD called All Roads Lead Home. Below is a 2 1/2 minute trailer of the movie.

All Roads Lead home looks like a really heart wrenching, yet cleanly done family movie with a message to it. I think if you are going to watch a movie with your family, it should have some kind of message to it. The girl has to deal with many crisis in her life and although I haven’t seen the movie yet, it looks like a movie with a point to it, that one can learn from and relate to. All Roads Lead home won Winner of Best Feature Drama in the International Family Film Festival. One of my favorite actors Peter Coyote plays the grandfather in a main role. Jason London and other well known actors are also playing leading roles in the movie.

All Roads Lead Home The Movie is available for pre-order on DVD. If you order it now it will be shipped January 19th. I really encourage you to look at the trailer because it looks like an interesting movie for the family.

You or your husband might already own a type of Dremel power tool. Dremel makes rotary power tools that are used commercially to grind down things. Dremels also make great alternative dog nail clipping tools to the traditional dog clippers. This is because instead of cutting your dogs nails through clipping, which leads to pain, splintering, and bleeding, a Dremel painlessly grinds down the nails. Many dogs can’t stand regular nail clipping and for some dogs, it is so traumatizing they won’t let you do it. However, most dogs will get used to the Dremel over time. It might take them a while to not associate you using the dremel on their nails with their previous bad experiences with nail clippers.

There are about 3 different Dremel models that are commonly used to effectively grind your dog’s nails. Which one you pick depends on your dog’s size. Large dogs do best on the Variable Speed MultiPro, which has a range of 5000 to 35,000 RPMs. You will want to stay in the 5000 to 8000 RPM range because if it gets too fast your dog’s nail will get too hot and cause him pain. Do not get the cordless multipro dremel because the minimum RPM starts at 10,000 on that model. Dremel also has a Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Tool, specifically for dog nail grooming. That model has a range of 7000 to 14000. The cordless MiniMite model has a range of 6,500 to 10,000 RPMS. Both the Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Tool and the MiniMite model are ideal for the smaller dog breeds.

The Dremel is a nice dog nail clipping tool, but I and many other dog owners prefer another dog nail timmer called the Peticure. The Peticure works on a similiar rotary nail grinding action like the Dremel. The difference is that the Peticure can also catch flying debris and tends to be less of a rough grind. You can only buy the Peticure through their official website. You don’t need to go out and buy a Peticure to have the abilitiy to catch nail debris because the Peticure site sales a Peticure Safe Guard. This accessory can be attached on certain Dremel models.
